Supervising Indigenous
Employees Skills Set
The Resources and Engineering Skills Alliance are working with
AWC to deliver the
recently endorsed skill set 'Supervising Indigenous Employees' in
South Australia.
The Skill Set is designed for experienced supervisors or
managers who are seeking to broaden their skills for the purpose of
leading a work team which includes Indigenous Australians or
supervisors who are already working with Indigenous employees and
require recognition of their current skills.
These units of competency provide credit towards a range of
supervisory qualifications in this or any other endorsed Training
Package, including: BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline
Management; TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
The Supervision of Indigenous Employees Units involve RIILAT401A
Provide Leadership in the supervision of Indigenous Employees and
TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction.
In the current mode, the skill set is delivered over a period of
