The Career Transition Service provides a professional and personalised career counselling service for the Whyalla community.  This service is available to all individuals looking to commence, transition, build their career or those navigating redundancy or job loss.  

This service is now being provided by RDA - Eyre Peninsula with support the Department for State Development Jobs and Skills Hub initiative.

The career transition service began as an interim initiative of RESA and the Local Jobs Program North West Country, supported by Whyalla City Council to provide immediate support to those impacted by industrial transition in Whyalla.

This service was extended ain January 2025 and delivered in partnership with Regional Development Australia - Eyre Peninsula with support from the Department for Energy and Mining, South Australian Skills Commission  and in collaboration with Workforce Australia Local Jobs Program North West Country and Whyalla City Council.

 

The program is now wholly delivered by RDA - Eyre Pensinula through the Spencer Gulf Jobs and Skills Hub initiative.
