TACTIC
TACTIC (formerly Global Maintenance USG) was established to promote the Upper Spencer Gulf as a regional centre of excellence in the provision of "maintenance services" to the local, national and international resource processing sector. Its membership is drawn from businesses across the Upper Spencer Gulf region.
GMUSG also works closely with industry to facilitate procurement for projects and activities in the Upper Spencer Gulf and remote SA regions.
C-RES: BHP's Local Buying Program Partner
The BHP Local Buying Program is delivered in a strategic partnership between BHP and C-Res – a cost neutral organisation. The Program enables small local businesses to supply goods and services to BHP, BMA and BMC operations via a competitive tender process with reduced payment terms.
Businesses also receive direct support from C-Res Business Development Advisors and the Program Administration Team. Businesses who employ less than 20 full-time equivalent employees and have a significant physical presence near one of BHP’s Minerals Australia core assets are encouraged to register for the Program. Austmine is the leading industry body for the Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector. it is a member driven organisation that exists to develop the METS sector and provide growth opportunities and value to members so they can achieve greater success. Austmine has over 600 members, from major OEMs, contractors and EPCMs, through to SME software, equipment manufacturers, consultancies, technology and support services.
