Career Transition Service - Whyalla

ANNOUNCING:   The RESA Career Transition Support Service established in 2024 in partnership with Local Jobs Program - North West Country, with support from Whyalla City Council, has been extended for two years through the Jobs and Skills Hub initative supported by the Department for State Development and will be lead by RDA - Eyre Peninsula.

Upper Spencer Gulf Workforce Summit

The Upper Spencer Gulf Workforce Summit was held on the 28th July 2025 to connect industry, government and community stakeholders as we collaborate to maximise the economic, employment and social transformation possible throughout the region at the heart of South Australia's transition to net zero.
 

Together we can make a positive and lasting impact to include benefit for present and future
generations as we focus on local people into local work opportunities to meet the current and
projected workforce requirements of industry while guaranteeing the viability and success of
the Upper Spencer Gulf through place-based solutions.

New Process Technician Traineeship

RESA has been successful in establishing a new South Australian traineeship  to support career pathways for Process Technician roles, with specialisations in Upstream and Downstream oil and gas operations, mineral resources and in readiness for supporting hydrogen production operations.
