We are now inviting expressions of interest from companies interested in supporting and developing their Community Engagement professionals, and with a commitment to improving Aboriginal Workforce Participation, to participate in the

 

Empowering Community Engagement Professionals (ECEP) program.

This CHANGE program, combines:

  • Do you want to build individual and team capability to improve opportunities for Aboriginal employment?

  • Are you looking for a collaborative, ethical and inclusive approach to improving Aboriginal Workforce Participation actions and outcomes for your organisation?

  • Would you like to join a community of learning for community engagement professionals?

  • Are you open to learning and reflection to build knowledge and support performance?

  • Are you looking for an action focused program that aligns to your Aboriginal participation priorities?

If your answer is YES, we invite you to submit an expression of interest for the ECEP program. 

We recognise that every organisation is different.

This program provides a structured framework to plan and implement actions customised to your company priorities, while empowering community engagement professionals to lead teams and share learning to support Aboriginal employment initiatives, for the benefit of Aboriginal people.

Program Details

Duration:  6 months (ongoing access to the RESA CEP network for all program participants)

Cost:  $6,500 (+GST)

Delivery:                  

 

The program is delivered through a blended methodology, minimising time away from work, including:

  • Facilitate Action Learning Teams program - delivered by Global Centre for Work Applied Learning (GCWAL) with online learning materials and 1/1 facilitator feedback by GCWAL

  • Face to face – commencement and bi-monthly CEP networking opportunities (Adelaide), by RESA

Group Size:            

 

Each program will be limited to six participants

Who should participate?
 

This program is for persons responsible for leading Aboriginal employment in resources and infrastructure companies. This may include:

  • Community Engagement Officers

  • Team Leaders

  • Human Resources personnel

  • Training and Development personnel

  • Managers

  • Consultants

Do I have to be an Aboriginal person to participate? 

No. 

 

Although a successful Aboriginal employment strategy will encourage and embrace input from Aboriginal people, the way this is done will depend on the specific approach of your organisation.

 

This will be reflected in the action learning team you bring together for the program, or in the actions to be undertaken during the project.

What are the key steps in this program?
 

1 Enrol

2 Commence FALT program

3 Establish an Action Learning Team

4 Complete the FALT program (including implement actions as identified in your action learning project)

5  Participate in the RESA CEP network to share experiences, challenges and learning
